The Microsoft Xbox 360 console first released in 2005, just a few short years after the original Xbox. Having learned many lessons from the first Xbox, the Xbox 360 proved to be a very popular gaming console choice – with many of the initial third party titles running far better than their PlayStation 3 counterparts. Plagued by the RROD (Red Ring of Death), the reputation of the console was so nearly ruined, yet loyal enthusiasts replaced their consoles over and over again to play their favourite games.
