Welcome

Welcome to Pixel Refresh, an independent UK-based website founded by James Woodcock. By continuing to browse and use this website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use the website.

In these terms, “Pixel Refresh”, “we” or “us” refers to the owner and operator of the website. “You” refers to the visitor or user of the website.

Website content

The articles, reviews, podcasts, videos and other content on this website are provided for general information and entertainment. While we do our best to keep everything accurate and up to date, content is subject to change without notice.

Reproduction of this material is prohibited without prior permission, except in accordance with the copyright notice which forms part of these terms.

Digital downloads and the shop

Pixel Refresh offers digital products through its online shop, including free game soundtracks and software applications. When you download a digital product, whether free or paid, you receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use that product. You may not redistribute, resell or share the downloaded files with others.

Where a product is offered as a free download or on a pay-what-you-like basis, the same licence terms apply regardless of whether a contribution is made.

PXR MIDI Player

PXR MIDI Player is a free macOS application developed by James Woodcock and distributed through the Pixel Refresh website. It is not distributed through the Mac App Store or the Apple Developer Program.

The software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. This includes, but is not limited to, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. In no event shall Pixel Refresh or its developer be liable for any claim, damages or other liability arising from the use of, or inability to use, the software.

You are free to use PXR MIDI Player for personal and non-commercial purposes. You may not decompile, reverse-engineer, modify or redistribute the application without prior written consent from Pixel Refresh.

Refunds and cancellations

Due to the nature of digital products, our general policy is not to offer refunds once a download has been accessed. If you believe your circumstances are exceptional, please get in touch and we will consider your request on an individual basis. In the event that a refund is issued, your access to the relevant product will be revoked.

User conduct

Unauthorised use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or constitute a criminal offence. You agree not to use the website in any way that is unlawful or that could damage, disable or impair the site or interfere with any other party’s use of it.

Governing law
