Dreamcast

The Sega Dreamcast, launched in 1999, was sadly Segaโ€™s final home console. It featured a built-in modem for online play and introduced VMU (Visual Memory Unit) for additional gameplay functions with a cute little screen. Known for its innovative hardware and games like โ€œSonic Adventureโ€ and โ€œShenmue,โ€ the Dreamcast aimed to push the boundaries of gaming technology powered by PowerVR graphics. Despite its short lifespan and competition from other consoles, it remains a beloved system among enthusiasts for its unique library and ahead-of-its-time features.
