Windows 8 is indeed a bold leap for Microsoft, with its new tiled Start Screen interface, fullscreen apps and the desktop becoming an almost secondary experience. Although the interface switching can be a little jarring at times as you are jumping from fullscreen apps to the desktop and back again, the features included are actually very appealing.
