It is always a sad time when a website closes, however it seems that a few individuals are keen to keep the Yamaha enthusiast torch alive with a rebranded event known as the ‘The Yamaha Independent Keyboard Festival’.

Between March 27th – 30th 2015, The Yamaha Independent Keyboard Festival will be held at the Tillington Hall Hotel in Staffordshire and they have asked me to share some of the details with you…

Vanessa kindly sent the following information:

Vanessa Challis, Paul Brooks and Anne Hadfield are picking up the baton from the successful but now closed YKE Forum and Festival and are re-launching next year’s show under the banner of The Yamaha Independent Keyboard Festival.

The Keyboard Festival will include a full programme of tutorials and workshops, our unique social pre-dinner ‘Cocktail Hour hosted by the ‘Tyros Tipsters’, superb evening entertainment and new for this year – a ‘Dine & Cabaret’ evening on the Saturday night.
Vanessa Challis – Event Organiser

Further details of the event can be found on their ‘Keyboard Festival‘ website.
