The Secret of Monkey Island started a whole series of point and click adventure titles in 1990. A HD remaster appeared in 2009, which featured voice actors for the characters.

Fondly remembered for Guybrush Threepwood who is desperate to become a pirate as he arrives at Mรชlรฉe Island. You also meet the ghost pirate LeChuck.

If you were lucky enough to own a Roland MT-32 at the time, the music was beyond amazing. Not many of us did.
