Speaker Visualiser & LED Bars
Fancy a bit of hi-fi theatre while you listen? PXR can show animated speaker cabinets and LED meters that move in time with the audio, for that classic stack-of-gear look without owning the stack.
Speaker cabinets#
- Show or hide them with
⌘⇧V(Display → Show Speaker Visualiser).
Switch them on and the cabinet windows appear, each one carrying:
- An animated woofer cone that moves with the low end.
- A tweeter with a trim ring that takes on the file's format colour.
- A 24-segment LED meter running green to red, showing the level.
- A compact 16-channel LCD meter inside the cabinet.
Speaker LCD panels#
Want a little more detail on the cabinets? Under Display settings you can add small Speaker LCD Panels for extra time and metering readouts. This option is available only when the Speaker Visualiser is turned on.
The top LED bar#
Above the player sits a slim rectangular LED bar, styled to match the speaker cabinets so the whole rig reads as one piece of gear. It shows:
- Amplitude-driven dots spreading out from the centre for the left and right channels.
- A peak-hold dot that briefly holds the loudest level before falling back.
It appears and disappears together with the Speaker Visualiser, so turning that on in Display settings brings the bar along with the cabinets.
