Player Views

PXR can show what is playing in four different ways, so you can trade detail for screen space to suit the moment. They all play the same files and share the same keyboard shortcuts.

Preview View What you get Open with
The full PXR window Full window The full player in one window: the 16-channel visualiser, the Mixer, the effect monitors and the playlist. Default at launch
The Mini Player Mini Player A smaller floating version of the player that still keeps the essentials, including transport, a compact visualiser and an inline playlist for picking tracks. ⌘⇧M
The Compact Player window Compact Player A small, square now-playing window with a glowing meter, the title, times and transport. The most pared-back view, ideal on a second monitor or tucked in a corner. ⌘8
The Presentation View window: a near-black full-window display with an amber backlit LCD header, effect and key readouts, and sixteen channel rows of instruments, mini keyboards and activity meters. Presentation View A clean, full-window display for screen recording and streaming: just the 16-channel visualiser, a slim header and a live SysEx log, with no controls. ⌘9

You can switch between them whenever you like, and PXR remembers each one's size and position.
