Listening Stats & Wrapped

Listening Stats quietly keeps track of what you play and turns it into charts, badges, and a year-end recap. Before you wonder where any of this goes: everything is stored only on your own Mac, is never uploaded anywhere, and you are in full control of it. No accounts, no cloud, no one watching.

• Open the Stats window with ⌘7, or from the Stats menu.
• Turn it on or off with Record listening stats in Settings → Stats.

What gets recorded#

When enabled, PXR notes which file you played, when, how many times, and through which output device. A play only counts once you have listened to 30 seconds or half the track, whichever comes first, so a quick skip past a track does not pad your numbers.

The Stats window#

The window has several tabs, with a period picker (this month, this year, all time, and so on) at the top:

• Overview: total listening time, your top tracks, a breakdown by format, your listening streak, and your most-used output devices.
• Tracks: every file you have heard, sortable by play count, total time, or when you last heard it.
• Formats: plays and time per format (GM, GS, XG, and so on).
• Devices: time and plays per output device.
• Share: generates a shareable image card summarising your listening for the chosen period.
• Wrapped: a year-end recap with your top tracks, formats, and devices, ready to export as an image.

Badges around the app#

With stats enabled, a play count and a rank badge appear in File Info and the now-playing strip, so you can tell at a glance how often a track has been on rotation.

Your data, your control#

In Settings → Stats you can:

• See the current database size.
• Export your stats to a file for your own backup.
• Wipe all stored stats (this is permanent).
