Today my Yamaha Personal Keyboard Owner website celebrates its 5th anniversary. With over 20.5 million hits, 215,000 forum posts and nearly 10,000 authenticated registered members since December 21st 2004 when it launched. My independent Yamaha keyboard and digital piano enthusiast website has grown from a small hobby site into a feature rich resource recognised by visitors from all over the world.
Owned and operated solely by James Woodcock, YPKO as it is now affectionately known by many of the members continues to grow and will hopefully exist for many more years to come…
I would like to take this opportunity to again thank all of the members, visitors and contributors to my website for their support over the last five years. Also thanks to Glyn Madden from the Yamaha Club for his co-operation and of course Yamaha UK and indeed staff from Yamaha globally who have provided important assets and encouragement.
Congratulations to James on reaching the fifth anniversary of Yamaha Personal Keyboard Owner. It’s fantastic to see so many Yamaha enthusiasts engaging in such a lively and stimulating forum, whilst the wealth of additional content on the site makes this an indispensable resource for all Yamaha owners. Well done James and keep up the good work!

Congratulations on YPKO’s 5th birthday James. It’s been great working with you and we’re looking forward to continuing the successful co-operation between Yamaha Club and YPKO in the next five (at least!).
Doesn’t time fly when you’re having fun?
Glyn and Cathy Madden (Yamaha Club Magazine)
Congratulations James. Five years of Yamaha Personal Keyboard Owner and still going strong. Well done. For me personally joining this great forum has been a life changing experience. Up until then I had no interest in computers or how to use them and thought I never would have. Playing the keyboard was all I did. The pleasure of owning one of these keyboards has been enhanced by being able to share the experience with so many other enthusiasts that have now become friends. I like to think we are one big happy family and as such have our little ups and downs, but with James there to moderate us and calm things down we all still remain the best of pals. The forum meetings have been a great success. Long may they continue.
James I must extend a big THANK YOU to you for making this possible. I am sure everyone will agree we have the greatest forum out there.
