puppy.jpgMy local music store in Arnold, Nottingham is having a musical extravaganza for a whole 10 days which started Friday with all kinds of performances from Yamaha, Roland and Hammond.

I was invited along for the weekend to speak with Yamaha keyboard and digital piano enthusiasts as I run and own Yamaha Personal Keyboard Owner and write articles for the Yamaha Club magazine. The event has extra purpose though as they are also raising money for the RSPCA.

Quite a few people rang up during the weekend to find out if I was indeed in attendance and I met many people who came down interested in particular with the Tyros 2 (Yamaha’s flagship keyboard). It is always nice to meet new people who share the same enthusiasm and joy for keyboards as I do. This is evident on my discussion forum, but meeting in person is always nice.

I would like to thank the staff at Williams Music in Arnold for making me feel so welcome and providing me with some lovely coffee and special home made biscuits… very nice indeed!
