Installed or upgraded to the latest Google Chrome browser (version 28 in this case) and wondered why your extension icons were now hidden under a new clickable area? Odd isn’t it, well fear not as you can adjust this quite easily so you can again view all your icons without having to click to reveal them on each and every occasion!

This is particularly useful if like me you installed extensions that detail how many unread emails you may have or how many hours until your next calendar appointment.

1. Hover mouse pointer over right hand side edge of Google Chrome address bar

If you hover your mouse pointer over the very right hand side of the Google Chrome address bar as shown in the image, you will see the cursor change indicating you can stretch this area.

2. Click and hold and move all the way to the left

Simply click and hold here and move all the way to the left until all your extension icons are visible again…

Simple when you know how hey, but unfortunately not obvious without a little prompt!
