I always like to make fairly straight forward maps, where you can jump in and get straight to the action. However there are areas on all my maps, where you can find hidden health, weapons etc to make it a little more exciting to explore.

So here are a couple of maps I made for the game Far Cry Instincts for Xbox and because it was so darn good, Skiligans Isle, by Skilgannon.

  • I’m a huge fan on custom design levels, my speciality is DukeNukem 3d. Getting my head around ‘Build’ and all that ‘triggers’ to open doors and teleporters, switches etc was an achievement in itself. Good to see custom designed levels are coming more and more onto the console world… finally

  • I was wondering if there is a website that i can put my map that i’m going to make for a Vietnam war project for school on the would enable U.S. History teacher to look at it because I don’t want to have to bring my xbox to school. Also I can’t make the battlefield any other way because i don’t know what else to do. Since you were able to get Skillgannon’s map on this website do you think you could do the same for mine?

P.S. I need to know right away it’s due on tuesday March 13th.

  • I am sure there are websites you can use if you take screenshots. I captured these using a camcorder hooked up to the Xbox output.
