I have been using this software for about a year now and it is really handy. When you have your collection added to the software, it will pull information such as who the actors are, reviews, information, box art and even easter eggs (hidden items) if there are any.
Adding a title is easy, you can just enter part of the bar code and the software will then retrieve the details for your database. If you wish you can even share your collection online, again with all the information that goes along with each title. I would highly recommend this program!

Couldn’t agree more this software is great, especailly when you have a huge collection and can’t decide what to watch, you can use the filters and pick a film. Now if only they would do one for cd’s as well!!
Well I rip all my CD collection on to my Hard Drive :)
A Great Program
The original author of DVDProfiler is still working on the project under a new company. V3.01 is out now and it is very much improved.

I’ve been using this software for about 3-4 years now and it’s a very good way of cataloguing your DVD collection, I don’t use it quite as much as I should and not gone anywhere near the new features in the latter versions – is there anything particularly interesting?
To be honest I haven’t tried the new version yet, there is a job for me today :)
