Many didn’t expect the console to find a place in the market due to its underwhelming specifications and lack of high definition output, however Nintendo proved yet again that it is the gameplay that should hold centerstage. Nintendo sold over 100 million units and although the world played mostly Wii Sports and not much else when family and friends visited, the console showed the gaming world that Nintendo was back with some fantastic first party titles.
